Pottery Workshop: Where Clay Meets Creativity

On 15th June 2025, our school hosted a Pottery Workshop exclusively for our hostel students. The workshop aimed to provide a creative outlet for the children, allowing them to express themselves through art. The event was a huge success, with the students enthusiastically participating in the moulding and shaping of clay into various forms.

The workshop began with a brief introduction to pottery, followed by a hands-on session where the students learned to mould clay into different shapes and forms. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, the children created an array of pots, plates, and lamps, showcasing their imagination and creativity. It was heartening to see the students' faces light up with joy as they brought their creations to life.

The Pottery Workshop was more than just a creative activity; it was an opportunity for the students to develop their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and self-expression. The hands-on nature of the workshop allowed the students to experiment, take risks, and learn from their mistakes. As they worked on their creations, the students demonstrated patience, persistence, and attention to detail.

One of the most rewarding aspects of the workshop was witnessing the sense of pride and accomplishment among the students as they showcased their finished products.
