A Learning and Fun Trip to Vietnam: Shiksha Valley School

The Shiksha Valley School organized a "Learning & Fun Trip to Vietnam" for a group of 13 girls from Class 11th and 12th. The 4-day, 3-night educational tour, with an extra night for early check-in, focused on the northern regions of Vietnam: Hanoi, Ninh Binh, and Halong Bay. The trip was facilitated by Meenakshi Tour N Travels. The students were guided by Neha Jain and accompanied by teacher Manisha Chaurasiya.

Educational Itinerary Highlights

The itinerary was designed to offer both cultural immersion and natural exploration:

  • - Hanoi (Day 1): The tour began with an early check-in and half-day city tour. The group began their exploration with a visit to the famous Train Street—an iconic narrow alley where trains pass close to residences and cafés, offering a unique glimpse into local life. The students were fascinated by the vibrant atmosphere and enjoyed taking photographs as a train rumbled through the street. Later, the group headed to the Thang Long area, where they indulged in shopping and explored the bustling local markets, soaking in the sights and sounds of Hanoi’s dynamic street culture.
  • - Halong Bay (Day 2): A full-day cruise was organized to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The day's activities included passing by iconic limestone islands like Dog Rock, Duck Rock, and Thumb Rock. The students explored the magnificent Sung Sot Cave/Surprising Cave and enjoyed kayaking at Luon Cave. The day concluded with a panoramic view of the bay from Titov Island and a sunset party on the cruise.
  • - Ninh Binh (Day 3): The group journeyed to Ninh Binh to explore its historical and natural beauty. The visit included the Hoa Lu Citadel, the temples of Dinh and Le kings, and a scenic two-hour rowing trip through the cavern system of Tam Coc (an area recognized as a UNESCO site).
  • - Mega Grand World (Day 4): Key historic sites visited included the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Mausoleum viewed from outside), Ba Dinh Square, Uncle Ho' Stilt House, and the One Pillar Pagoda. Students also visited the Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hoan Kiem Lake, explored the Hanoi Old Quarter. On the final day, the group had a shopping tour and transferred to the Mega Grand World before departing.
Logistics and Cultural Experience

All major meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) were included daily (B/L/D). The students enjoyed both Vietnamese food and Indian food, finding both to be delicious. Accommodation throughout the trip was provided in Hanoi at a 4- star hotel (Muong Thanh Center or Thang Loi). The trip successfully blended sightseeing with adventure, providing the students of Shiksha Valley School with a rich and memorable international experience.

After the safari, they enjoyed a hearty breakfast and some relaxation time before lunch. The tour concluded with happy memories, and the students returned to Dibrugarh, filled with excitement and joy. The trip was a great learning experience for the students, who got to explore the natural beauty of Kaziranga and learn about the importance of conservation. The organizers and teachers are to be commended for planning such a wonderful trip that combined education, adventure, and fun. The parents have expressed their gratitude to the school for organizing such a memorable and enriching experience for their children. Class V Students Embark on Unforgettable Kaziranga Adventure

The Class V students of Shiksha Valley School recently embarked on an exciting educational tour to Kaziranga National Park on 8th and 9th November 2025. The two-day trip was a fun-filled and learning experience for the students, who traveled in an AC Luxury Bus accompanied by their teachers. On the first day, the students were picked up from the school premises and set off for Kaziranga, with a goodie bag containing snacks and chocolates to munch on during the journey. Upon arrival, they enjoyed a delicious lunch and visited the Kaziranga Orchid Park, one of the largest orchid parks in India. The evening was filled with a bonfire and music session, creating memorable moments with friends. The next day began early with a light snack, followed by a thrilling Jeep Safari at Kaziranga National Park, where the students got a chance to explore the wildlife amidst nature.

After the safari, they enjoyed a hearty breakfast and some relaxation time before lunch. The tour concluded with happy memories, and the students returned to Dibrugarh, filled with excitement and joy. The trip was a great learning experience for the students, who got to explore the natural beauty of Kaziranga and learn about the importance of conservation. Class 4 Students Enjoy a Fun-Filled Day Trip to Namsai

On 11th November 2025, the Class 4 students of Shiksha Valley School embarked on an exciting one-day educational trip to Namsai. The students departed from the school premises at 8:00 AM, accompanied by their teachers, and traveled to Namsai by bus. The students were provided with breakfast on the way, and each student received a goodie bag to make the journey more enjoyable. Upon arrival, they visited the beautiful Golden Pagoda, where they learned about its history and significance. The students were fascinated by the stunning architecture and serene surroundings. After the pagoda visit, the students proceeded to the Tung Tao Resort, where they enjoyed some fun time and relaxation. They played games, swam, and had a great time with their friends and teachers. The students also enjoyed a delicious lunch at the resort, which was a treat for their taste buds.

The trip was a wonderful blend of learning and fun, and the students had an unforgettable experience. The scenic views, exciting activities, and quality time with friends and teachers made the day truly special. The students returned to school by 9:30 PM, tired but happy, with memories to cherish forever. The parents expressed their gratitude to the school authorities and teachers for organizing such a wonderful day outing for the students. Class 3 Students Embark on Educational Trip to Sibsagar:

On 13th November 2025, the Class 3 students of Shiksha Valley School, Dibrugarh, embarked on an exciting educational day trip to Sibsagar. The trip aimed to provide students with an opportunity to explore the rich cultural heritage and architectural marvels of the Ahom Kingdom. The group departed from the school campus at 8:30 AM, accompanied by their teachers, and traveled to Sibsagar by bus. They were provided with breakfast and a goodie bag containing snacks to munch on during the journey. Upon arrival, they visited the Rang Ghar, Asia's oldest amphitheatre, and learned about its history and significance. The students then proceeded to visit the Talatal Ghar and Kareng Ghar, where they gained insights into the grandeur and history of the Ahom dynasty.

After a delicious lunch, they visited the Sivasagar Tank and Shiva Dol Temple, appreciating the spiritual and architectural importance of these landmarks. The trip was a perfect blend of learning and fun, allowing students to discover Assam's glorious past while creating lasting memories with friends and teachers. The students enjoyed the boating session and the scenic views of the surroundings. The parents and students expressed their gratitude to the school for organizing such an enriching and memorable educational tour. The trip was indeed a wonderful opportunity for the students to learn about their heritage and have a fun-filled day with their classmates and teachers.
