    Debate Competition on “Should Nuclear Programs be Promoted?”

    On 08 May 2026, the school proudly organized an engaging and intellectually stimulating Debate Competition for students of Classes IX to XII on the thought-provoking topic, “Should Nuclear Programs be Promoted?” The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 10 dynamic teams, making it a remarkable platform for academic discourse, critical thinking, and confident public speaking.
    The competition showcased the exceptional analytical abilities, research skills, and eloquence of the participants as they presented well-structured arguments both in favour of and against the motion.
    Students highlighted various dimensions of nuclear programs including national security, scientific advancement, energy sustainability, environmental concerns, global peace, and ethical responsibilities. The debate reflected not only their subject knowledge but also their awareness of contemporary global issues.

    The atmosphere throughout the event was vibrant and intellectually charged as participants confidently defended their perspectives with logic, facts, and persuasive communication. The audience remained highly engaged, appreciating the confidence, articulation, and depth of understanding demonstrated by the young debaters.
    The esteemed panel of judges evaluated the participants on the basis of content, presentation, rebuttal skills, confidence, clarity of thought, and overall impact. Their insightful observations and constructive feedback motivated the students to continue nurturing their oratory and leadership skills.
    The competition served as an excellent opportunity for students to strengthen their public speaking abilities, develop balanced viewpoints, and cultivate the spirit of healthy competition. Such academic activities continue to play a significant role in shaping informed, responsible, and confident future leaders.

        An inspiring morning at SVS!

        An inspiring morning at SVS! 🚴‍♂️🌳

        We were honored to host Rtn. Pappu Ram Choudhary from Rotary Club of Nagaur, Rajasthan on 2nd May 2026. He is on a 60,000 km solo cycling expedition “Shakti Sankalp Safar” promoting Environmental Sustainability, Drug-Free India & Fitness.

        After cycling 42,000 km across 26 states, he reached Assam and planted saplings with our students under ‘Mission 100,000 Trees’.  

        His message to students: “Life is like cycling. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” & “For a Fit India, come out of gadgets and play on the field!”
